Pff, loser. You mean you didn't have all the ultimate weapons, and maxed out stats for FFX? It only took me 200 hours. Now if I know a way to transfer save file from memory card to pc, I can email people a copy so they can finish the game easily.Alan wrote:Ahhh, FF8...the only FF that I played with the obsessiveness shown by Peijen and Vinny toward FF and Chrono Cross, respectively.

Legend2 was the only FF i ever beat > 10 times... err I guess > 2 times even, since I've never gone through any FF more than once. I had "ubder save game" right at the 1st town, since the way you level up in FF Legend2 was weird, I had my Humans with 99 str and 999 hp, magi with 99 magic, etc... and some crappy robot with crappy stats until the end.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.
Huh, I never thought of doing that. The most I did was to all of that first NPC's spells in the first dungeon.Dave wrote:Legend2 was the only FF i ever beat > 10 times... err I guess > 2 times even, since I've never gone through any FF more than once. The first time I played FFL2 I couldn't beat Venus. The second time, I couldn't beat Odin. The third time, with lots of patience, I managed to beat the game, but I was basically running from every battle in the last few dungeons. FFL3 was more fun because by the time I played it, I understood the concept of leveling, and actually got my characters strong enough to be effective. I beat it twice I think. FFA once and FFI once (but just barely).
I feel like I just beat a kitten to death... with a bag of puppies.
hehe yea, the GB was weird in that it saved some random number so that if you got a max hp up or str up after the battle. saved. reset the gameboy and fought the "random" battle again, you'd still get the max hp up and str up, so I had a super powerful Human & mutants. Robots got stats/hp from equipment hehe. But yea, I like accmilating exp better than random stat increases at the end of a battle. Like FFL3. FFL1 was also random stat increase I think.
Last dungeon I ran around until I fought the monster that dropped the 7-sword... it owned. 7 hits! 2983719823719837 damage.
