Sree's apparently in trouble

Post by bob »

It seems that the recent hurricane flooding has caused some major troubles for Sree and his restauranting, and some CMU people have decided to try to help him by raising some money. If any of you are interested in donating, here's a link about it, with details about the situation and who to contact. Maybe the memory of eating from his truck is just that good.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

wow, does living in FL automatically allow you to speak spanish?

Oh, and good for you. Someone told me you were having problems in that area. Glad that you were able to work those out without assistance aids that older individuals need to use.

Sree is again a source of controversy. Originally, he was thrown out of Building D for "various reasons". This time, if you read the above link, apparently he was legally required to have flood insurance which should have been available to him. I don't see why I should reward him for his own negligence. Furthermore, I didn't like his food much. As for the man himself, he did always treat me nicely, and I do believe that his truck is a source of competition for Taste, but if it disappears, new competition will likely arrive.

I wasn't necessarily trying to convince anybody to give him money. I only ate there a few times myself. But I figured I'd pass along the info in case anybody did want to help him out, because I know lots of people like his food.
