Firefox 1.0 is to be released tomorrow barring any unforseen difficulties. Go figure, since I just installed firefox on my work laptop.

woo, with this and Linux Standard Base 2.0 maybe Linux will be a serious desktop OS now. Like I always said until there is a unified API it's not going to take off. I am glade they are taking the right step.The same system will soon be used by other desktops such as KDE, so this will allow different desktops and applications to work together more smoothly.
