I'm a goin to Cleveland

Post by Alan »

For my first interview, with Case. Not going to be able to go for 2 or 3 weeks though, because of training.

Yes, it's Cleveland, but hell, if they tell me I have to become a Browns fan to go to their school, I'll fucking become a Browns fan.

At that point, I would have to kill you for humanitarian reasons.

Meanwhile my rejection tally looks like this:

Schools that didn't even send me a secondary
Loyola
Vanderbilt

Schools that are letting me wait on their convenience (ie not too interested in me) to fill out a secondary
NYU

Schools that took my money and rejected me anyway
Georgetown (hope you enjoy my $100 you bastards)

That's what I hear, you have to have some kind of political connections or connections with their school to have a chance at getting in. And that they prefer Catholics.

I probably should've found that out before giving them $100.

Yep, still waiting to hear from 20+ schools. And I still have 2 allopathic and 2 osteopathic schools to apply to.

Be an ophthalmologist and figure out a way to fix Retinoschisis in extremely myopic people!

Apparently with -7.75 in both eyes, it's not surprising I have a minor case in both. :(

or buy your degree online and write a bestseller like Dr. Phil!
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

I was lucky in that I lived in Cleveland before I was old enough to know that it sucked.

My father got his MS: Physics from Case.
I feel like I just beat a kitten to death... with a bag of puppies.
