Mohtalim MOTD
There was a quote from one of the Stars clone pages about position inaccuraccies at velocities > 0.5c. There was something about wearing human pants. There was was something presumeably referring to the death of the actor that played Hannibal on the A-Team. There may have been others that I forgot or missed as well.
I feel like I just beat a kitten to death... with a bag of puppies.

Short Answer:
Yes, If the relation is new (CCG/Sentai show) to old (CCG/Sentai show). Otherwise, no.
First off, I haven't watched Yu-Gi-Oh. You have been warned.
However, from what I've heard, Yu-Gi-Oh was first a popular manga (japanese comic) that exploded into anime / CCG / video games. I haven't researched the system myself, but the "fusion" manuevers supposedly get VERY complex; potentially moreso than MTG.
On the other hand, MTG was first a CCG, then they built a story around it. For Yu-Gi-Oh, the story came first.
* Sentai translates to 'taskforce' in Japanese and it is also a term to describe a show that involves a superhero team. - http://www.supersentai.com/
