I just found the "Cross your fingers and try again in a few minutes" statement to be amusing :)

I just bounced all my andrew emails to myself.... now I have like 1000 msgs. Apparently my andrew account was shut off on the 15th, but I can still access everything. and delete my hundreds of emails of spam.

Is there a way to create more folders to subdivide them? I've just archived all the bounced messages so I dont have to see them.

Why bother to create more folders?

Hmm... I really should archive my andrew mail too.

Is there a way to bounce e-mails in pine?

So far I've been able to fwd messages as one HUGE e-mail, or as a mime digest. I'd prefer separate e-mails though. I'd hate to have to reinstall mulberry...

Also, gmail has a nifty feature known as labels. I made an "andrew" label and applied it to few mime digests I sent.

The good thing about labels is that an e-mail conversation can have more than one. This is similar to having an e-mail exist in multiple folders without silly symbolic links or duplication.

Does that sound right?

Nevermind, figured it out. Also, it only sent part of them since some e-mails (undisclosed by the system) failed a virus check.

Joy...

Heh. You do realize I used labels before that right?

Just tried to provide a constructive response to the folder issue.

actually, more to the contrary, I'm just messing around, having fun and not being all that serious since I get a temporary break from having a deadline looming over my head.
