Oh, I have to note that I'm so glad I've never read a WoT book and wasted my time reading thousands of pages of drivel.

Actually, the first five were great. The sixth and seventh were slightly lower quality, but still good. The eighth was the first really pointless one. The ninth was pointless except for the last couple chapters, where the author tricks you into thinking that things are moving again. He only did that to convince people to buy the tenth book, in which he basically gives up on advancing the plot.

I did not buy the ninth book and did not read the tenth, because I could see it coming.

You really can't tell a story that lasts longer than ten thousand pages. It's too much to keep together.
