Son of a bitch, Preview formats my preformatted tables differently than the actual forum.

Initial Abathur impression: I don't know what I'm doing! ;)

Sylvanas: Even forewarned, I use Banshee escape too late. I also forget to, you know, run away while I'm timing the reactivation.

Falstad: Well, I got to the point where I don't die overmuch. Progress? Still not getting great hero damage numbers. I think I am terrible at Seasoned Marksman. What is a reasonably good number of stacks to have at 20?

I haven't been brave enough to try Abathur yet.

Sylvanas is really really squishy. I think she needs to be very conservatively positioned and banshee away as soon as it looks like you might get targeted.

I actually like Falstad's Q talent at lvl 1. I feel like marksman is good if you get to snowball, in which case I don't really know if it adds all that much. I think you probably need at least 30 stacks to make it worth it.

I actually played Abathur to level 5, then macros Abathur on the buff account to level 8 so far. Thoughts: pretty fun gameplay. During team fights if you can let your team survive 4v5 you and your monstrosity can push down an entire fort and a half. Making a mine trap is pretty fun too, but usually too much work to setup. Actually shooting stuff running away is pretty fun during team fights.. especfially in haunted mines for some reason. I usually went: Glands, Carapace, Spines, Monstrosity, Soma, Adrenaline, and Hivemind. Never really care much for talenting locusts or mines.

When using Abathur on the other xp buff account autospamming QWE, would just default leave mouse cursor in the direction of the enemy core and afk. It is pretty interesting following AI movements, they do a whole lot of back and forth and like using Rs for movement instead of actually hitting enemies. They mostly play it very safe and disengage much more than I would.

But I did finally reach level 10 on Johanna. Compared to Valla, did it in 93 games vs 71 (probably stimpack) and had 983 to 105 td:d ratio vs 719:204 for Valla. Though I did suicide a lot more to get a kill with tumble :D

Is it possible to create custom games with AI?

I want to try different builds for soloing bosses with new Azmodan, so it's best to do it on maps that have bosses.

Just played a 43 minute Battlefield of Eternity map with Abathur. My first Abathur match. We won but it was exhausting.

I should probably Muradin or Diablo w/ Abathur? I thought Anub + Abathur could keep the shields up but in practice it's impossible to coordinate.

I think with voice chat we could coordinate it. Also when I'm better with Abathur. I think overall he is best with AA damage dealers who are aggressive though. So like Illidan, Zeratul, or Butcher.

Wombo in your face

Messy win. I was Zagara with two supports and no front line. I had most hero damage but fewer takedowns. Illidan kept diving me. I can't trade with him. I can't run away. And my team couldn't focus him down fast enough. Any thoughts? My main thought was to avoid teamfights and win the objectives.

I got the specialist quest two days in a row and went with Syl who I have similar issues with overextending alone against a zera/nova. With Zagara, I think you just need to bait him into your zombie circle and use your hydra on him, he should hopefully die superfast.

I think either ignoring team fights or else VP->maw on etc and Illidan, focus down sylvanas. Then...still hard bc your zeratul has an obsolete build and can't do enough damage.

Actually that's not an obsolete build, it's just a bad one.

i think overall it's just not a good team fight combo against illidan since you have no CC outside your ultis to deal with him.

And sometimes team comp doesn't matter. Just won a match as Tyrande with Jaina, Valla, Murky, and Abathur against Muradin, Falstad, Raynor, Tassadar, and Abathur. Our murky just sieged all game and died repeatedly, but Jaina, Valla, and I won every team fight 3v4 bc of better positioning. There was also a few times that Raynor showed up 5seconds after we wiped his team.

Meanwhile I am a terrible Malfurion. I'm so bad with him that I don't even know what I am doing wrong with him.
