In other news, new condos in the "condos spring up like mushrooms" section of Portland have sold so poorly this summer that two condo buildings have refunded earnest payments and become apartment buildings instead. C'mon, bottom, fall out of the market!

Other inexpensive housing markets showing predicted price growth include Buffalo/Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Pittsburgh and Huntsville, Ala.
I guess if Alan decides to buy in Buffalo or Pittsburgh, he's fine... I doubt if any of the rest of us are gonna go to those places :-p
