Current Status of Mohtalim is: Awesome

Post by Jonathan »

So the Bulletin Board counter reset itself. I'm not particularly worried about that. The custom mods I made are a possibility, but I'm not really worried about restoring them. Did anyone use the RSS feed for the links or posts? I know I sure stopped using it. Statistics are always nice, but meh.

Registration is disabled for the time being. Email me if you want in. Everyone's account should work. I don't have any backups of posts made between August and last week.

Post if there are problems.

http://dwindlehop.livejournal.com/ - I switched webhosts, albeit stupidly.

For a while, the restored backups were so old I didn't yet exist.

Edit: Oh, no, my awesome avatar has disappeared. Well, it's about time for a new one anyway.

Edit2: Oh no, my somewhat less awesome signature disappeared.

Edit3: No, it's back now

Here's a problem: the pagination for the topic view is apparently based on the forum's topic count. Therefore, there's no pagination on the Bulletin Board because it thinks there's 2 posts, not 2000.

This is actually a fairly simple SQL fix, so I may actually fix it at some point in my life. Until then, there's always the search function.

Yeah, I originally restored from August 20. 2003. Heh. This is August 13 2006 or so, I think.

I DEMAND AN AVATAR

Hm. Indeed. Everyone private me and tell me what you want to be moderator of. I will pick based on who offers the best bribes.

Or, just leave it broken and I'll work on my 'ignore' skill

It's the little icon up at the top of an already read post next to "Posted: <date>". It just doesn't load in Firefox. It seems to work fine in IE though :-\

What's weird though is that basically the same image used for unread posts works!
