Kinda related; but not really.
I should have a 3rd bathroom on the 3rd floor within 2 weeks; meaning the top floor will be free (and with its own bathroom ).

They apparently changed their minds; probably because the 3rd floor is like a complete separate apartment.
Plus, they seem used to the 2nd floor now >_>

You know my conditions.
However, I'll add an additional one that I won't live in Vinny's mother's room.

Stop wasting your life away! Someday I will be tired of trying to motivate you to move ... Take actions before then

dude he's right. Stagnation sucks ass and also changing things up at least every 2 years really does give better perspective. You won't be in your mid-twenties for very much longer.

I've realized (and to be fair, known all along) that my social situation has nothing to do with my location and everything to do with me. My life would probably be exactly the same if I lived in DC or Little Rock.

yes, but if you are here you can hand out with Jason and I. Also I can definitely say my social life is much better in DC than Little Rock.

Well, I wasn't just considering social life. The increased competition in this job market is a good thing. It means that if you're good the only way companies can treat you like crap is if you let them. If you're willing to take risks, you don't have to advance within the "guidelines" of your company. For example, recently I told my boss I was tired of the lead developer role I had and wanted to do something else. After talking for an hour, it looks like I'm on track to start doing different kinds of work that is more of a stretch assignment. Whether the change will actually pan out is yet to be seen, but my manager knows that if I'm not happy, it's muy facil for me to jump somewhere else.

I figured facil was roughtly the same as facile, but didn't get that muy was related to very (or much or I guess mucho in this case).
The only thing I learned from Latin in junior high is that many foreign words have similar roots to english words since they both were derived from Latin.

Ok, Jason is leaving on Saturday morning for work. So let's get together Friday night and have dinner.
We will figure out what to do the rest of the weekend later.
My place around 7:30. Vinny you better be there.
