Has anyone else watched it? Non-spoiler short summary:
It rocked
Fast-paced, which is a plus in my book
Dialogue was concise, meaningful, and loaded
Consistent and logical, for the most part
Good job of not requiring viewers to know the series
(with maybe the exception of Kaylee/Simon's relationship)

Am I the only one that's seen Serenity so far?
If so, I'm surprised.

I can't watch it yet. When it first hit theaters I'd only seen two episodes of Firefly. Over the last week I've been solving that problem, but I still have two or threee more to go. Then I'll see it.

Wasnt a fan of the show when it was on TV, seems kinda dumb. Watched some battlestar galactica, and that show is also kinda dumb too. In retrospect, its probbaly not the shows that are dumb, but me.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

For those that haven't read already the spoiler-free review by OSC,
here it is.
(from this /. article)
Perhaps that'll provide some more insight? In summary though, it's all about the characters.

I saw it Friday night. If you liked the series, you'll love the movie. If you're dave, you're just self-admittedly dumb.
