hey t-shirt people

Post by Jonathan »

What the world needs now, more than anything else, is a T-shirt that says,

"I'm A Vegetarian, But Sometimes I Crave Meat"

And a silhouette of some oral sex. You could go with stick figures, but I think a sort of 50's style pinup and a giant phallus outline would be classier.

So where do I go to make my vision a reality?

If you want to provide it to the world with little or no effort on your part, cafepress works. Free for you (not necessarily cheap for them). I think the simple white cheap t-shirts with front printing have a base price of $8 or $9, and you take the extra amount of whatever you set the selling price above that. Any shirt besides plain white with front screen gets kind of expensive.

Good link, though they appear to be approximately the same price as cafepress, and possibly more. These on-demand printing places are expensive!

I came across another online t-shirt printer, used by a variety of webcomics, including "goats". I'm not sure if it's on-demand or not.

Brunetto seems to have ordering minimums.

Time to check the competition!

Neither cafepress nor spreadshirt have minimum orders.

This might be a good starting point. I could add a sausage and two meatballs, arranged just so on a plate. Or perhaps some dancing phallic meat around her with stars. Or even just a subtle cock background.

The other way to go is more in-your-face and would dispense with the innuendo in favor of the actual thing. I'm thinking bright red or orange silhouette in an oval outline. It might need one detail, like some lips or lashes.

The crass way is to with an actual photo. I can't say I like that option.

I've seen a fake DeBeers ad that either has the caption "diamonds are forever" or "she'll pretty much have to". More likely the second one. It's got a picture of a diamond and a silhouette of some good ol' fellatin'. I have been unsuccessful locating the picture, but if you can track it down, it might be good for your shirt.
