scanner

Post by Jonathan »

This is just so odd that I had to post. I bought a Canon LIDE 20 scanner a couple years ago because it was Cheap. Last night, I tried it under Linux. Worked perfectly the first time. Weird.

I have the same scanner. I like it because it's pretty much the same size as my laptop (slightly longer), and it doesn't require external power. It's also nice quality. I haven't tried it under anything but OSX.

I also highly recommend the Brother HL1440 laser printer. I've had mine for several years. It's a very good printer for a very good price, and it's compatible with whatever random OS you want (PCL3 support or something). Every family I know of that has one actually has more than one (home and office).
