Watched both versions, nothing to exciting.

Half of the new characters die or barely talk making me wonder why I'm bothering to even notice them. Heck, I still don't understand why Gambit was really necessary other than to stop Wolverine from killing Sabretooth half way through the movie and to lead Wolverine to the island afterward. Why didn't Wolverine just keep hacking at Gambit after Sabretooth got away.

Amber read they're setting up Gambit for his own movie.
JLP did look inappropriate. And... Stiff? Like they couldn't afford the effects budget for him to move his body or face.

A better movie would have started with a gunshot wound to the head and told the Silverfox story out of chronological order. But hey, no one likes Tarantino movies, amirite?
