Lemme explain this in simple terms:

I don't usually drink what I doesn't taste good to me
Alcohol doesn't taste good to me*
I don't usually drink alcohol

Kapeesh?**

* At least, none that I've tried. The fact it reminds me of cough syrup, that has alcohol, and is something I dislike, doesn't help.

Alcohol makes vinny wet the bed.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

Capische Italian : ka-PEESH-eh : You understand.

When said in a questioning manner, it means "Do you understand?"

Oh, and I know this is a public forum, I don't think calling them hot is an insult though 8)
No, the real question is were you still drunk when you posted this?
No, that's not the real question because vinny is scared of alcohol. The most we've ever gotten him to drink is one shot and it took five hours of wheedling before he would.
I think you guys need to get him to try a good mixed drink that hides the alcohol flavor well. Then get him to drink more and more of them. Maybe try passing off a really well mixed frozen drinks as a smoothie.

It wouldn't work. He can taste the trace, trace amounts of rum in Tiramisu. White Zinfandel, a blush wine with very little alcohol, had too much alcohol for his taste.

I would say to go away from wines and rum. Fruitier drinks can tend to hide it much better.

I don't know if you know what Tiramisu is, but it's an Italian dessert: a coffee/rum cake. A CAKE.

Strangely enough, I remember liking the tiramisu from Joe Mama's. That and the bread pudding. The Italian family/sharing dinner place (5 syllables?) at the waterfront had WAY too much rum though.

As for sweet drinks I've tried, here are a few: (not complete)
Bailey's Irish Creme - Horrible aftertaste
Kahula Mudslide - Horrible aftertaste, seemingly worst than Bailey's
Mike's Hard Lemonade - Slight aftertase, but why not just drink REAL lemonade?

Yes, I know what it is. There's really nothing to hide the taste of the rum. It's part of the flavoring, and more importantly keeps the cake moist. Yes, there isn't much rum. Yes, it's a yummy yummy cake. No, I have no idea why vinny would object to eating it. And after taking time to read Vinny's post, he actually did like it, so there!

Ok, so new plan, I'll find a tasty yummy drink which Vinny wouldn't taste the alcohol. Meanwhile, someone shove Tiramisu down Vinny's throat. Lots and lots of it. If he doesn't get drunk, we might get enough caught in his throat to cause some asphixiation. If that doesn't work then I'll report back on my findings.

only way to get vinny to drink is if there is an anime and assosicated multi-player videogame associated with it.

and it must have a plethora of fan-fiction

Quit trying to drink crap, that's my advice. Get yourself a good microbrew or whiskey. Add a lemon. Tada!

It's hard finding a good microbrewery though.

Hmm... doesn't microbrewery imply beer? If so, I'll have to pass. I've tried a variety of beers, from Budweiser and Guiness, to Belgium white beer and Stella, all have tasted shitty and are bitter on top of that. Bah.

How about: (1) Hot chicks, (2) Anime, (3) FFXI. That's a nice start, no need for drinking 8)

Then I will amend my previous advice to the following: don't drink crap or weird stuff.

you can't get those to mix without sufficient alcohol 8)

Alcohol, the universal party solvent... or maybe solution?

See we thought about the get a yummy drink a long time ago. We got vinny some stuff like a blue motorcycle where you can't even taste the alcohol and all it does is make you feel warm inside. Vinny commented that it burned or something to that effect which is why I said vinny is scared of alcohol. It's not the taste nor the burning, he's just scared of the stuff. and I think that's ok.
