For those that haven't noticed these features and if you're not already using Firefox 3, too bad for you!

An anonymous reader points to a mention at MozillaZine of wrote:a screencast by Mozilla developer Mike Beltzner, demonstrating some of the new features in Mozilla Firefox 3, which is due out very soon. Weighing in at under four minutes, the screencast gives a concise overview of why you should be excited about Firefox 3. Due to its visual nature, the screencast shows Firefox's features far more clearly than the many written previews that have been published. A picture really is worth a thousand words.

I've been using it since Beta 3. RC2 just came out. The demo is pretty nice. What it doesn't tout is that Firefox 3 is also much faster and more memory efficient than Firefox 2. This is especially evident on javascript heavy sites like gmail or google calendar.

The main problem like usual with using these pre-release versions is the extension support usually lags by a day or so for the most popular extensions and others just aren't even supported yet. You can't just go and edit the compatibility property anymore to get old extensions to work. I believe I read that this is because now there's checking built to check against a database that mozilla is maintaining.
