If only they weren't called cores and were called balls instead... Then it'd have a lot of balls. Not an assload, but still, a lot.

BASELINE PROFILE SUCKS!

Ahem. Just felt the need to make that abundantly clear.

At the very least, anything worthwhile should decode mainline profile. "Good" things should handle at least some high profiles. Case in point, I can only run baseline and some mainline (without B slices iirc...) on my half-pound Cowon A3, restricting me to lower quality encodes on the run :/
(coming from the person who upgraded their PC primarily because playing high-quality encodes resulted in stuttering...)

Pretty sure they can't because they only do high throughput integer.

Does it take more energy to keep helium liquid than is used by the chip that it's trying to keep cool?
