That's not the end of the problem. Assuming Salyer is right, and players are ruled to own the content they find in their online games, does that imply publishers are liable for changes they make to those items? "Balance tweaks" are commonplace in online games, as publishers respond to the growth and player activity. Sometimes those changes result in items or characters becoming less effective --and hence less valuable. Could this leave publishers liable to lawsuits?
LMAO. Nerf me again, and I'll sue!

Dave should buy this book, and then spend his time making little gifts for his coworkers. (SFW, but probably you don't want to click on it unless you want to do some explaining.)
use tinyurl or something like it!!
there. happy?
okay, fixed for real.

hahaha, and the best part would be if he was actually a real, live, boy! and let him die!
I must be newb, but what does using a tiny/evil url link actually do?

http://www.tinyurl.com takes url's and translates them to a short url like tinyurl.com/short. It's really useful when you're at sites like amazon or mapquest and you want to send someone a link to the page you're at without having it wrap over 5 lines. In the case of the forum, it won't wrap the link, so the forum just gets really annoyingly wide... If you're using firefox, there's an extension that lets you just right click on the background of a page or a link on a page and get a tinyurl for it.

http://www.evilurl.com/ does the same thing as
http://www.tinyurl.com, but instead of a boring string of digits and letters, it gives you a string of vaguely dirty words. 'feceslickburger'. hehehe.

First paragraph on this page has a couple pointers to interesting articles on Social Security. Random thought: how many people believe both the dire warnings about global warming and the dire warnings about Social Security?

Why use tiny url when you can just use the:
Code: Select all
what_you_want_to_see
tags?
That's what I prefer out of laziness at least.

Actually, using proper hyperlinks like Vinny suggests has the additional benefit that you can see the URL in your status bar when you mouse over the link. This is a benefit, especially to those of us surfing from work.

I'm so glad that you went on to observe this sentiment in your next post...

I was implying "benefit [over using tinyurl.com]." I still prefer to put the entire link up there. It's easy and provides the best discovery.
