What is it with reporters and personal news sites (see Fudzilla)? I would think the advertising revenue and thus salary would be better when you combine forces with other reporters.

It's gotta be the reporters who think they're getting read a disproportionate amount more than their peers and think that too much of the wealth they generate is going to media company stock holders and salaries for less productive colleagues.
