A lot of reviews on metacritic are saying that it is funny. I wonder if this is best watched on DVD with the intention of laughing at it.

hrmmm, now where have I seen a movie that Jim Carey plays a person who's chasing animals... I'm sure this similar previous role couldn't be coloring people's views of this movie.the movie stars Jim Carrey as Walter Sparrow, an animal-control officer who goes off the deep end
nevermind, it does.the character comes across as some wrong-side-of-the-tracks cousin of Ace Ventura.
