Seems quite impressive, I definitely can't name 3 events though.

That reminds me a lot of those animations in multiprocessor with the hundreds of extremely simple FSM's working together to act as a memory cell. Replace FSM with molecule and it looks virtually the same.

When our understanding of cellular processes gets better, Alan might find that he's back doing CS... debugging cell programs.
