You mean quantum entanglement in a fabbed semiconductor has been demonstrated. Physicists have been entangling gobs of things for years.

The emphasis here is they are using the spin of an electron from this isolated atom as their qubit. The hope is this idea might scale. Several other physical qubits, like ions trapped using magnets and lasers, don't have much hope of scaling beyond toy systems, like factoring 4-bit numbers. Those guys are, however, a little ahead in the state of the art compared to the semiconductor guys, last I checked.

Well, when I download directly I get ~370 kb/s. When I try through freecache, I get...370 kb/s. I'm guessing that's my cap.
