I'm a good pirate and am getting to know which ships will probably pay well to be on and which won't. Besides, I'm a solid sailor and carpenter which means it's pretty easy to get paid well on a navy ship too. A bonus to sailing well is the ship goes faster and you'll be paid more often since there's less time between island ports where they pay you. I'm hoping to hit expert soon...
