I did manage to take 1000 peo from the hold ..., now I have rum and cannon, but no ship

alright. i downloaded the windows installer, and it came with JRE 1.4.2. So I'm good to go.

Sun doesn't appear to be distributing JRE, only J2SE, which is lame (J2SE is the dev env).

Also how much poe does each of you have. We are going to pull together to buy a ship so you can all be officers.

I have ~1k and Joe has ~3k that give us 4k. According to Jason, a ship is about 7.5K so we are 3.5k short.

We might get a cheaper deal if the captain sells me the ship, and free maps.

You can get a ship at Emperor Island for 8150. I have 3820 right now and earn about 36 poe a day while not doing anything. Ah, jobs are nice for a little baseline cashflow.

anyways, if PJ has 1k, we still need 3300 more!! Get your butts in gear earning poe!

ok, cheapest ship to order that I can find is 7315 and would take 9 days to make.. I've made a table of the islands that we can get to via ferries and what buildings are on them. I'll see how much poe I make tomorrow, so maybe we can get a ship ordered soon if we can't buy the other one.

Is anyone playing tomorrow (today)?

here's a thread about sword drop patterns and what they are for all the sword types as best they could figure out. Apparently, what I thought about how drops worked was a bit off.
