Uh, I think it has something to do with the fact that they finished the beta and went to a production release. The new release (midnight) is on a different server than the beta (azure) and none of the pirates in the beta got moved over. You had to start over from scratch. I have a pirate on the new server, but haven't logged in for 2 months :?
Have you clicked today? Check status, then: People, Jobs or Roads
