Yet another upgrade for NS. You need Steam to get this one working, though. Thought I'd post the link because the Alleg fuckers are pissing me off. I've been far more impressed with NS players, so I'm go play this some more.
And I bought CoD.

I despair of finding even one team-based game that someone I know will play. Though maybe Jason used to play BF1942, though I never got that one?
Well, some people who throw the occasional LAN party here play coop UT2k3 mods, but that doesn't count because it's against the computer.
I heard bad things about Steam so I didn't actually install NS3.0 yet.

yeah steams a piece of crap.
It really peeved me off that valve or steam vanquished all the CS 1.5 servers, no wait... they didn't kill the servers.. just prevented people from being able to join them. Why did this happen, well to force the teeming 1.5 players (who already tried steam/CS 1.6 and went back to 1.5 ) to permanantly shift to 1.6 And use steam. Its true that steam improves some stuff, like the console system and the menu systems in general, but it completely changed the way Counterstrike feels ingame, not to mention changing the weapon/equipment buying numbers as to screw up most of my weapon binds. arg.
too many things have irked me about the whole deal. Hell, i've seen more cheaters on the few 1.6 servers i've joined, than all the 1.5 servers in the past few months. I feel retarded when i sit through steam's "downloading security module" for 5 minutes only to spawn in to a game where some hacker is 50 an 2, and he only has two deaths because another lameass on my team has some crappier hack but is the only one who can kill em. sheesh. I think i'mma just wait for HL2.
hell, whatever section of town you wern't able to power up, my own whining should compensate quite nicely.
