Im a Lvl 1 Paladin Lvl 1 Beastmaster! Beastmaster is pretty fun, in easy areas, you just send a decent baddy against and easy one, then you go kill another baddie. plus if you're losing a fight, tame is on a 15 sec timer and works on pets that got loose and baddies you just fightso you can try to tame until you die lol

Damn, I'm starting to consider doing the Summoner quest when I get to lvl 30, just because it looks like fun to play a Summoner, lol.

I have given up on searching for carbuncle ruby at the current lvl. for all that work, and the fact that summoners use summons not to fight but to "buff" then dismiss, that's not worth the time spent searching for the ruby (not to mention you have to ues carbncle for a long ass time)

Will most likely go all the way as whm and blm sub...got beastmaster quest done while streaking nakkid but not sure if I want to go into that as I will need to buy new eq (more money wasted when it's already hard to come by)

yea, I saved all my lvl 1/10/16/24 equipment from my WAR days to use as a PLD and sort of BST. I sold all of my MNK and WHM equipment, since I wont be using those anymore heh

currently an 11 PLD / 5 THF to get a little more gil and to steal hehe

I'm planning to go all the way as BLM with WHM sub, but a summoner sub-job would give me assloads more MP. (Hard to imagine have even more MP than I already do, but I guess anything is possible!)

Regardless, we should definitely start whacking the avatars when we get high enough, because everyone who participates in the fight gets to choose an award, either the summon scroll, or a piece of uber-equipment. and you can do each one once per real-time day.

If i do play a summoner main, it wouldn't be until I had collected a few of the good summons as a high level black mage.

Still want to unlock samurai when I hit 30 just to see a taru with a katana!

The GS is too heavy for the taru so he's crushed in half and the character dies forever. Time to start a new char

-but- the taru comes back to life as a small furry creature. Its appearance and abilities change depending on a number of factors, such as: day of the week, hair and face combination, job levels, what clothes you were wearing, and whether you (the player) had on his lucky underwear or not. But there's a bug, so you have to be really good and spend a lot of time on it and never really get anywhere because you get very fixated on this one little thing.
