stupid taru

Post by Jonathan »

So I'm on Vomp Hill and I'm really crankin. Sweeping up the 36 exps, not engaging challenges except at full health, not getting too close to the even matches. I even nailed a 100 exp Black Wolf who aggroed me at half health with my Mighty Strike and 300% Fast Blade. In short, I was cruisin.

My item list was lookin pretty full, and I'm thinking that I need to go back to town, sell off, and buy a sweeter weapon. Just as I'm thinkin this, I come across this little taru getting pounded on by a sheep. All the little guy is doing is casting Cure over and over, and he can't get ahead. I figure hey, little buddy needs my help. So,

Dwindlehop: need help?
Karatogua: pls
Ornery Sheep uses Sheep Song.
Dwindlehop falls asleep.
Karatogua falls asleep.

Then the sheep bashes the little guy's head in. I never engaged the sheep, though, so he leaves me alone. I'm standin there like a tool waiting for the sleep to come off when an even match thug comes along, decides to aggro me, and bashes my head in. End of story.

Moral of story: no good thought goes unpunished.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

in other ffs, you could always target your party and attack to wake them up. i guess since ffo is pvp-, there's no way to wake somebody up?

You can cure them to wake them up.

And you know about sorting to stack items right?

seeing that no pcs can hit you to wake you up, the only way to get up is by getting hit. either kill them before the use sleep on you or don't fight any sheep or sleep-inducing monsters :)
