hehe looking at the quest list, that black wolf we killed dropped that dog collar that someone hopefully didnt sell yet, but the reward is a map for the gusgm mines.

There's a quest I've got that's not listed there..

It's "Eco-Warriors", and you can get it from the person at the end of the bar at the Port tavern. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the details when I got it.. can someone who doesn't have it yet talk to him/her and get the quest? I think I'm supposed to go to Gusgen Mines or something, but I don't remember what for.

Or if someone's already done it, maybe clue me in..

I've had that quest for a long time too, it's not in any of the quest walkthroughs.

If you play a melee class be sure to do the Welcome to Bastok mission that gets you a Spatha (lvl 9, dmg 11). You get it from a merchant in the Port Bastok tavern.

Seems to be the only site that has anything about that quest at all.

It's possible to exit north or south from the Residential area after you do this quest. I was wondering whether this was possible. Guess I'll have to do this quest this weekend.

It's easy if there are any Amaryllis's available at auction. Think they cost a couple hundred gil.

Don't know where else to get them.

Very possible, very useful. You can exit at any Residential area (you choose Mines, Market, or Port) no matter which you entered from. Cuts down on time, especially going between Port-Mines.

  • Obviously posted to get me to post. You've succeeded!
  • Not sure which quest you're talking about (the link is dead), but I've done all but 4 Bastok quests barring AFs; meaning I've done close to 50 uniques there alone.

I'm guessing it's the one where you walk to some waterfall or something and everyone in the party gets gold.

Ah, the Gustaberg Tour then.

Take a full party (6 ppl) whose max level is 5 to a Galka by the waterfall (Drachenfall) to explore sightseeing opportunities :)

The reward was a merger 500 gil per person (actually, a LOT at lv5), but traveling with 5 others (before the partying stage of lv10) fending off some monsters while avoiding those that can squash you was actually quite fun.
