"Wolves of Gioll Rock"

It's stupid, but no stupider than anything else. I suck at making up names. I think the ticker WLFPK is available. I haven't registered the corp yet.

Maybe I could work Wolfpack into the name instead of Wolves. I dunno. Brilliant suggestions?

WLFPK was not available, and I decided I didn't really like Gioll regardless. It ought to be Gjöll anyway.

So far I've got

"Claws That Catch" - CLAW is taken, probably go with JABBR
"Morning Roses" - ROSES is taken, dunno about MORN
"All Who Wander" - Hopefully I could get WANDR
"Lean and Hungry" - I give no odds on LEAN being available
"Scholars, Lawyers, Courtiers, Gentlemen" oh yeah
"Engines of War" - ENGIN? ENGNR? ENGNS?

I need more engineer-related ideas. It's a game with an Engineering skill, ffs.

Man, the more I think about it, the more I think I'm going to go with "Scholars, Lawyers, Courtiers, Gentlemen." Slogan: We're the men you should shoot first. Or perhaps: The most dangerous men in the country. Always shoot us first. First Against The Wall.

So many good choices.

Kill the dangerous men first.

I'll stop now.

Waiting to be called primary

For serious this time.

The first thing we do, let's kill all the SLCG

now you just need to pick an guild emblem...and maybe a mascot...er whatever the space/eve equivalent of those would be...

Eve has a cookie-cutter emblem creation in-game tool. I made one, it's a crown on a red cross over a blue field. I'll probably change it soon.

Alliance emblems can be anything, though. You just mail CCP your design in the correct format and they put it in the game. That's pretty sweet. Not currently part of an alliance, but I'm going to look for one.

Yeah, my avatar is my eve char. When I made it I was trying to make a portrait with the stupidest expression I could. At most resolutions, you can't even see the pupils properly, so it looks like he's wearing white contacts.

My $3.16 got me a followup customer service call from Godaddy just to make sure I was happy. It probably lasted 60 seconds and they blew all their profit on my purchase. :)

Well, nobody's joined, so I'm set to throw in the towel and join a real corp. Probably Uninvited Guests (UGH), but I'm going to look around a little bit.

I guess nobody wants to group with casual gamers, including casual gamers. Quite a few of my Eve friends were interested, but not so interested that they actually, you know, applied.

You can always come back to FFXI for casual gaming*.
Return Home to Vana'diel
This limited-time campaign offers customers who have deleted their characters an opportunity to adventure through Vana'diel once again with their original characters. When you purchase a FINAL FANTASY XI Content ID during the campaign period, you can have previously deleted character data restored onto that ID, and resume play immediately!
They're even going to be adding Dancers!

* the definition of casual is subjective and affected by expectations

both first-class entertainers and ... accomplished martial artists
The awesomeness of that link counterbalances the FFXI reference. :P

Seriously, there's some minimum number of people you have to have before random persons on the internet will consider joining, and Alan + Me < That Number.
