Let's all just work and play at IBM? I'm not sure why, but I have a strange feeling that IBM might be on the right track by pursuing this for legitimate business purposes... Also, was Second Life ever really a "game" or is that just the moniker they put on it so that people would try it out and get moving the world's first real attempt at a legitimate cyber-world?

If by "game" do you mean does it have bosses and skills and goals and things, then no. If by "game" do you mean what are the primary activities to do in SL: gamble (games), dress up (Sims, game), cyber (eww), see the weird shit people make. So 50% of SL is playing games, the rest is cybering with weird tentacle aliens.
