Laptop video driver
Hah, HP thought they made it impossible for me to put ATI drivers newer than two years old on my laptop but they were wrong! All I had to do was uninstall everything, install the HP drivers, then manually update another device's driver with one from an ATI archive, then install a hacked version of another ATI driver, use a third party tool to reenable AGP transfers, and tweak some control panel options. But it was worth it. Not for performance reasons; Dungeon Lords still runs like crap. Not for compatibility reasons; I lost DVD playback until I extract another file from an older ATI driver and swap it in safe mode. What I gained was satisfaction that I beat THEM. THEY couldn't stop me. Yes, a productive evening...
Hahahaha I love the comments they have from critics posted on their webpage:
"...Dungeon Lords is a perfectly viable outlet for RPG fans..."
"But if they...are looking for a fun fantasy role-playing game, this might be worth a try."
If "viable outlet" and "might be worth a try" don't inspire me buy this game, nothing will!
