My group is currently playing it. It is every bit as bad as you would guess, but not quite like you'd expect. There's lots of description. Only ~25% of the rooms have had anything in them so far. Almost every monster is a fiendish darkmantle (every floor has a theme monster, apparently this one is darkmantles).

By the way, the book is the same size as a textbook.
I feel like I just beat a kitten to death... with a bag of puppies.

Unfortunately, the group is pretty large, so I'm not sure there would be room. We have seven players (plus a familiar and an animal companion), so it's kind of slow moving.

Hmm, maybe I could borrow the book from the DM and we (the ex-CMU people) could run through it in parallel.
