Actually I won a few games because of phasing. Allowed me to do staggered summons and the creatures weren't there the next round for the other person to attack.quantus wrote:I think Mirage added something called phasing which basically means that your card exists one turn, "phases out" the next. It was like, here, have a card for half the time. That just seemed a bit annoying to have to deal with all the time. You could theoretically have a massive army one turn and have nothing the next.

I will post my Joe-deck in a couple hours. I call it Joe's Old Busted Deck.
Realistically, it's more like The Deck I Should Have Had. I threw some cards in there that I had, some cards that I foolishly traded away, and some cards that I really really hated when my friends played them against me.
I got to take out my second Sol Ring first though. So I gotta finish work before I do that.

Joe's Old Busted Deck
The idea is denial. I had some Djinns and nifty lands in there this afternoon, but I decided that odds are I wouldn't get to play those, so I swapped them out for the Juggernauts and some Skeletons. I'm not sure about the mana balance, I might have to fiddle with it after getting my ass handed to me a couple times. I had most of these black cards back in the day. I combined them with several different colors, usually green or white. I always wanted the blue cards to do this, though.

Tooth and Nail
This is a Type 2 deck I found on the internet. I like it because of the ridiculous creatures.

Results of Round 1, Peijen versus Jonathan
We played a practice round which I won because Peijen didn't put enough mana in his deck. Then we played a real round. Peijen pummeled me with his forestwalking dryad and later his Elven Riders, but I scraped out the win with 2 life left. Both of us were still remembering how to play, though. I think he skipped a turn attacking with the Riders, and I think I sort of ignored his Vine Trellis when I attacked. Still would have been close if we remembered how to play this game.
Lure 4 teh win!
