Swords & Potions 2
Re: Swords & Potions 2
so I think there's a bug in the auction house/I am bugged . I use to post a lot of items needed for quests in the city AH with a 900% markup but after they have expired, they haven't been returned to my inventory, nor have I gotten any mail about anyone "rich" enough to buy these things. So I lost things like thunder bolts, silk bow, priate's axe and all sorts of expensive/rare items =(.

Re: Swords & Potions 2
I think I got hit too, but I only had a 42k evil scroll up :/
Then again, I just sold a Fire Dagger to Chuck and haven't gotten payment yet. Maybe the AH is just super lagged.
Btw, fully maxed Street Peddler dungeon quest == 162 xp and 3900 gold per hour! (fortunately with no item loss!) [1]
[1]
9*3*60/10 = 162 xp/hour (awesome!)
(100+200+350)*60/10 = 3900 gold/hour (meh!)

Re: Swords & Potions 2
It depends on what you want. Personally, I've mostly been crafting whatever my customers want and evenly. In fact, I try to craft 1 under the necessary items and research only when I have a surplus of items of all types to keep customers happy before researching. Having 75% suggestion success rate is awesome. Shunning customers can work, but it'll suck trying to get them back later since the lowest affinity (i.e. red with 10% suggestion rate) causes customers to appear very infrequently. We're talking 10+ in-game days without seeing them.
Specifically, sorceress has some really nice quick synths I'm sure Jonathan would attest to, but not everyone likes potions. If you can get to Dolphin Bucklers with carpenter, they're great. Blacksmith has painfully long synths, but I've found my customer's love their goods (longswords and then claymores though are ugh). The armor classes (armorer, leatherworker, tailor) are great to keep customers happy since most customers have more armor slots than weapons or accessories. I've played with bowyer, good effort to gold rate but very few people buy bows (only up to crossbow). I leveled druid pretty early which kept my mages happy. Druid staves made me good money but presynths can get annoying.
I recommended leveling your customers up early. Leveling is really easy in the beginning and customers tend to only buy what you can craft (i.e. even if you don't have rare item ingredients >_>). I was afraid customers would ask for items beyond my crafting level. Thus I didn't level my characters much in the beginning and severely hampered my gold generating ability. Now I try to level all my lower level customers first to ensure they can hit money synths (i.e. more gold per time unit spent). Also, I stick max leveled characters on one-time event quests since those quests are long and hamper character growth, at least so far.

The important thing is, we got a shared chat channel not through some AAA MMO subscription, but F2P micro-transactions flash clickfest.
For about two days.

Re: Swords & Potions 2
I'm somewhere into Waki atm, so a little ahead of you. The sword is the only thing I'm still working on for quests (but will get 2 new ones today/tomorrow). I'll post a priest robe when I get the chance. Anything else people are waiting on? It looks like most people have moved on, but I'll probably keep on clicking until I get bored (which if I have to keep waiting for 4 tiers refills might be sooner rather then later ).

Re: Swords & Potions 2
Cool, a customer just sold me a Priest's Robe so no worries there.
Regarding all my items on sale, I dumped them there since customer's would always ask for them and I would keep on failing suggestions to keep them. Anyone is free to buy them if they want and I might bug someone if there's a specific item I want to level customers with.
