A NYT article by Steve Martin, but Der Spiegel doesn't require registration.

Jeez, where was this kind of rhetoric during the 2000 campaign? If he had been slightly less goddamn boring, he might not have lost.

I think we should all write Ross Perot to urge him to run again so he can pull the wacko vote from Bush and someone else can be President.

Which of these people looks like he could be elected? In my personal opinion, Joe looks like an asshole and Al looks scary. Dick and Dennis look like twits. Bob, John E., and Howard have a certain electable air about them. John K. looks like Leno. And, Carol, well, she could definitely play the role of President of the United States on TV.

That's what I say. Canidates are usually boring when they are running, take Bob Dole. He is a funny man, but damn he was boring as snail when he ran against Clinton. I wish Clinton is still the president.

I can't really say I support any of the canidates by looks (that how most american votes anyway). I will read up on their platform when I get back from lunch.

fully poseable figure features a realistic head sculpt
I wonder if I could pose him with his finger in his nose... That just would seem so fitting to me

I'm pretty frightened that Al Sharpton is even being considered. From some of the things he's said and done, I'd be better off moving to France or some equally crappy country rather than stay here if he's elected.
