New annoying pop-up ads..

Post by Dave »

Since I only use the google pop-up blocker + sp2 one, some larger sites (like espn.com, cnn, etc) have a new annoying "full screen" ad now that is annoying as hell.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

nope, that was in one of the harris "random programs we have approved for you to install" network popups which is how they distribute programs to people. ie - I needed viso to open a file, requested visio, and 2 days later had a windows popup that i could select visio to install. :?

Then request firefox and in two days you'll have a pop-up to install it. They should want you to install it since there are so many fewer attacks against it.
