Due to spammer activity, I had to disable registration and anonymous posting. If you would like to register for Mohtalim, please send me an email. My email address is <myfirstname>@<mylastname>.name, or you can find it on my website. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit (03/27/05): Registration is disabled.

As an experiment, I have re-enabled registration. If this results in significant spammer activity once more, I may disable registration again. You still cannot post anonymously.

That didn't take long. The first spammer registered in under 24 hours. I will probably re-disable registration.

Edit: I decided to try the new built-in antispam feature instead of disabling registration. Now registration uses a captcha. If you are blind or otherwise unable to pass the captcha, email or IM me.

Whee, someone really wanted to spam our bboard... They actually took the time to read the captcha.

If a bboard is spammed on the web and no one's there to read it, is it really spammed?

Registration re-disabled, for the time being.

No more registration. Stupid spammers. I guess I weeded out the bots, but there are people physically signing up for forums and making spam comments?
