Funny Otakon policy

From the Otakon weapons policy:
"Please limit the size of the weapons to less than 8 feet in height and weighing less than 250 pounds. "
What kind of a weapon would weigh 250 pounds and what makes the Otakon organizers think that someone would be both inclined to bring it and physically capable of moving it?

From the FAQ:
Food and drink are too expensive, and I don't want to miss a thing! What can I do?
Make sure you get at least one good meal in every day -- a real meal with real nutrition. (Ramen won't cut it, not by itself.) And make sure you drink plenty of water, not just fruit juice or sodas or coffee. If you pass out on us, we'll be annoyed.
Either they know Vinny, or this is a much more common problem than any of us imagined.

well I guess if you dropped them from really high up.
