I'll admit it. Mozilla Firefox 0.9.1.2 is better than Mozilla Navigator. Try it now.
It's just one detail after another that makes the difference. Like the Google Search field and everything opening in new tabs.
Firefox 1.0 is going to be pretty sweet.

FWIW:
First and foremost, in our hands-on testing we noticed that pages load much faster in Firefox and Opera than in IE.

Yep, I've been using Firefox since it was Firebird, and it certainly seems faster than IE. Plus, I don't have to install spyware to block popups.

Man I love some of these extensions. Like the one where it opens a link in a new tab if you drag it onto a blank spot on the page. And the Gmail notifier is damn awesome too.

AdBlock will block Google Ads, for the ultimate in low-profile browsing. And, of course, it'll do everything else: images, movies, flash, etc.

ok, IE has pissed me off enough to switch over to firefox before 1.0. So far, it seems pretty nice and responsive. Multiple windows with multiple tabs still run under one process so there's a smaller overall memory footprint compared to IE. It does seem faster at loading itself, but some pages seems slower, but it might just be tonight. I'll play with the features the rest of you already mentioned tomorrow.

I tried ctrl+pgdown and it didn't work... I didn't try ctrl+tab yet though.

I think easy user customization of what different mouse clicking combinations would be awesome. Like, I want to be able to map, ctrl+left click to open in a new background tab and ctrl+shift+left click to open in new foreground tab, etc... Software needs better user interface customization.

I use firefox for everything. the only problem with it is that it doesn't automatically associate bittorrent files with my bittorrent client.
