Flash memory form factors

I've been getting compact flash because that's what the devices I have use, but I got a 512MB SD card recently to upgrade my mp3 player. I never realized how small those cards are compared to compact flash since the cards are always buried in bulky plastic packaging so people won't steal them. I've heard people say it's the size of a postage stamp and always thought that was just a figure of speech, but it really is. It's like 1/8th the volume of compact flash. It was so cool to have that much memory in such a tiny package, that I had to post this.
