It's taking 20 minutes for gcc to link my damn code. WTF is it doing? There's no CPU activity, it's just goddamn linking.

dammit, i'm going to have to file a support issue about this. it's assssssssss-slow, where assssssssss is to defined to be really motherfuckin slow.

also, it is ruining my normal edit-compile-run cycle, because the compile portion takes 20 minutes even if i make a little one line change. argggggggh.
