Is this a good deal? My dad wanted a camcorder so I am going to buy him one for his birthday, but I am too lazy to shop around for good deals. Also I don't know what's a good and what's bad in camcorder.

Let me know what you think/find.

looks fine. I would say go with either a panasonic or a sony.

I just got ordered a sony for my parents so I sort of know the pros and cons of most of the current models, but I doubt you need that much info. This should be fine for 95% of what most beginners need.
