Anyone on this thing? or want to be on this thing?

I like the idea of more fine-grained group controls... Dunno how they're gonna implement it to make it easy to use though...

Just read about it, signed up, added spacegin to a circle, then got too lazy to do anything else.

Wait a sec, people are trying to get invites? I simply google'd about it, read the first link, and had a sign-up option o.o

Maybe I implicitly got an invite since a friend added me to one of their circles?

Just tried right now. No invite for me.

I didn't hear about this until like yesterday. Someone invite me! Eventually.

They had open enrollment for like the first day or so, then closed it to invites only, and now closed off invites for the time being as well.

To help I added a bunch of people to my circles. It seems some of my old co-workers just got in recently (or maybe they were always on?)

Supposedly adding people was the (undocumented) way to invite people before the lockdown. By adding people to my circles now, those people should have priority to join when more invites become available.

I got a message from Peijen that appeared to allow me to join today.

I'm in now too... Had to click through the message to get invited which I didn't do the first time I read it.

I see a lot of potential in the whole circles thing.

I also thought the hangout feature worked remarkably well.

Btw, did anyone still need/want an invite?

Two years later, does anyone still use this?

I do, there's certain things I like about it better than Facebook, like being able to search for stuff I'm interested in rather than just getting what my friends post.

Maggie uses it mainly because Google apparently uses it as part of their search algorithm.

I stopped because the app would prompt for my password too often. Typing is hard.
