Came back from it ~1 hour ago. It leaves a lot to interpretation, but not so much as to be a total cop out. All in all though, I'm leaning toward dislike :(

WHAT?! You suck.

I thought it was pretty good and explained most things well. I still don't get how the real world and the matrix world could interact in the funky way they do through Neo though. I'm thinking that there could be another movie a la Simulacrum 3 and it would go a long way to explaining what the heck was going on. I've been reading Dune Messiah and there are some parallels to this possibly as well. I want to say more, but I can't exactly figure out how without spoiling things.

The dialogues were actually pretty good at looking at various philosophies in multiple ways and yet not really choosing one view point over another. Maybe this is what Vinny didn't like, but I think that's the whole point of this series and is what makes it such good sci-fi in the first place. I didn't like the second movie as much because I thought it lost the exploration a bit with the long action scenes. Of course, there were the discussions with the Merylingian (sp?), the council member, and the Architect interspersed.

All in all, it's worth seeing this if you've seen the first two and liked them at least a marginal amount. If you liked the other two, then you'll certainly like this one as well.

Yup agree with Joe, FOR THE FIRS TIME!! thought it was great...for those of you thinking matrix should have lots of action like the second one, you got your perspective sort of wrong...not saying this one doesn't have good action of course, but just the right amount

Friend of mine here at Intel took the day off yesterday to see it. Said it was good entertainment, but... not a fitting end to the trilogy.

I think it's a fitting end, probably the best way to end, just not how most people want it to end...

Although I loathe to admit it, there's an ounce of truth to that.
