You know, I think I am missing the whole point of meetup. I keep going there expecting there to be a calendar of sorts. Like I input something and then it spits out my custom calendar. And that is completely wrong, isn't it?

How do you use meetup?

you go to a group's page and look at their calendar?

so go to say cultural events for single and their calendar, http://www.meetup.com/CulturalActivityG ... /calendar/ and it should have a list of events for you to view.

Yeah, see, I didn't want to slice it by group. I wanted to see "here's all the things happening Saturday night." And then pick the best. Guess I need to page through more groups and find interesting ones. Only one I found for sure so far is Portland Metro Urban Hikers.
