New Landlord, New Problems

Just moved in two months ago.
Landlady wants to raise rent by $100/month. Obfuscates the increase. Justifies it will bullshit. Now I must move again in June. Everyone else is leaving too. Mass exodus because this bitch is so greedy while rents are stagnant or declining.
I'm looking into buying a house.

Just rent with apartment complex, or buy a house I guess.

Definitely. Professionally managed rental properties are many times better than the alternative.
Edit: just because it is an apartment complex doesn't mean it is professionally managed. A good clue is the level of service perks that the manager provides, I think, but it is by no means necessary or sufficient.

I'm thinking about moving from my 700 sq ft 1 BR to a 1000 sq 'loft' at the same complex. 6 mo lease and maybe check the housing market sometime too when things start to stop
