Can anyone recommend a good blender?

Min Reqs:
-Can actually crush ice without leaving huge chunks (for magaritas, smoothes, etc)
-Affordable (<$70)
-Easy to clean (Glass, tappered jar, detachable blades, etc)
-Durable

Optional:
-Low wattage?
-Attachments (food processor, more blades)
-Aesthetically pleasing
-Less Noisy?

Yes...odd question...I know

We have one that meets the min reqs except affordable. I seriously doubt there's a good ice crusher under $70. Let us know if you find one.

Oster and Kitchenaid are good. This is onsale right now.

I have a toastmaster that I've never taken out of the box.

If you're serious you should get this.

I have a low-end Oster. I can't really recommend it. A couple bits of plastic on the container broke off at some point. Also, it doesn't crush ice evenly. With that said, a better model might get you more. As I recall, Oster advertises that their models all have metal gears, suggesting that others don't, though I never cared enough to look into it.
