Hooray for research? Or "research"? I'm sure Dave could tell you all about the "research" he's done with Counterstrike and Asheron's Call 2.

Heh, I'm feeling a little bad having told dave about Windows Media Player Classic and the "boss key".

Ah, the memories... it was all about the food ship shaped like a carrot. Kick-ass weapons. Also, although the repulsor was awesome, it took all the challenge out of the game (sigh).

I wonder if I still have that game around... unfortunately, I don't think it was programmed with lockstep (like Wing Commander 1), meaning it'd be totally unplayable.

Hmm, my desire to find it just plummeted.

Suicide was still fun with the repulsor.

Bah. I have it on my hard drive. I'll post it this weekend.
You need moslo to play it, but otherwise it works just fine. Granted, I haven't tried in under Windows XP, but hey.

I remember using moslo before, way back with my p2-300. For some reason or other it didn't work after that. It might've been that 1% (the minimum setting if I remember correctly) was still too fast ^_^;

There's a "Tyrian 2000" released a few years ago that runs fine on modern systems. I had it for awhile during my abadonware binging days (when you could still get the stuff easily), but am pretty sure I wasn't forethoughtful enough to back up a copy.

Still, a bit of emule/donkey or torrent might find it again.

You're pretty damn close to catching up with me :( I think my goal will be to get to 500 and not care anymore.

Haha, face it, you're addicted to Mohtalim 8)

Nope, mohtalim is definately not an addiction. I'm not compelled to post or read it. I just choose to read it rather than slashdot or something else.

Denial's the first step isn't it? (of some psychological process that I may have learned if I took a single psychology course)
